The state of maine has no Building Inspection Licensing or Home Inspection certification requirements so Basically you are on your own, but you have come to the right place! You can hire someone like myself who had to go to another state to procure a Home Inspectors license and is certified by 2 Home Inspection national organizations or you can hire a smooth talker who says anything that he thinks you want to hear. things like I am Licensed or certified or Insured because he thinks that 9 times out of 10 you will believe him?
