You want the best, and I understand that. I have worked for 17 years to keep my fees in the fair days work for a fair days pay range. If you must pay more to think that you got more I will gladly charge you $100 to $400 more to keep pace with my competitors,the vast majority of which Are not Licensed or Certified Building Inspectors, and have not sat for the National Home Inspection exams. I know that it doesn't make sense to get the best quality at the lowest price, but many thousands of my clients Have!
Single Family Home Inspection: $235

Multi-unit Building Inspection: $235 first unit $25 each additional Unit
Additional House on same property : $100
FHA-VA Pest Inspection Without Home Inspection: $80
Chimney Inspection Without Home Inspection: $150
Water Quantity Flow Test: With Home Inspection $50
Without Home Inspection $200
Water Testing: water collection and dropoff is Free with a paid Building Inspection (you just pay the lab fees at my lab volume discounted Home Inspector prices Conventional Sample Set $75, FHA-VA Sample Set $75, Rural Development Direct Sample Sets $75 or $100) (depending on your lenders requirements)
Radon air test $110 with paid Home Inspection $140 without an Inspection
Visual mold Inspection without Home Inspection: $200
Infrared camera Scan (done by an energy auditor) $225
septic Inspection $150 (done by a septic company during the Home Inspection which saves you a lot of time)And Not Done By A House Inspector Who Doesn't want to get his hands dirty!
